Tea Herbs





I have always enjoyed herbal teas and I often add a bit of honey or even milk to some of them. They are not only very refreshing but also have various health benefits .

Here are my favourite Tea Herbs:

Unless otherwise indicated, make your tea by adding a cup of boiling water to a quarter cup of your chosen tea herb. Let it steep for about 5 minutes, strain and enjoy!


Basil Tea


Basil tea will help you de-stress and detox and will also help ease head aches.


Chamomile Tea


Make this tea by adding 1 cup of boiling water to 1 tablespoon of chamomile flowers.

Chamomile will help ease sleeplessness and anxiety.

Dill Tea


Dill tea will help indigestion, coughs, colds and flu.

Fennel Tea


Fennel Tea will help ease indigestion, flatulence and heartburn.


Ginger Tea


Make this tea by adding 1 cup of boiling water to 3 tablespoons thinly sliced, fresh ginger and let it steep but do not strain. Add honey to sweeten the tea While drinking the tea, you can also chew a bit of the ginger to help ease nausea.

This tea will help treat nausea, diarrhoea and even exhaustion.
